Corela GRG-01

Corela GRG-01
CORELA GRG-01 spectral gamma logger is a state-of-the-art versatile instrument in laboratory or in situ gamma ray and K-U-Th concentration pattern logging in geological surveying

Key features

  • Corela GRG-01 includes an array of novel compact and high sensitivity radiation detectors embedded in efficient shielding and in a close contact with the measured sample (core). Its design minimizes the requirement for shielding size and weight while achieving the accuracy and precision of larger conventional setups.
  • The revolutionary modular architecture can combine a series of standardized instrumented segments to perform simultaneous measurements along core samples and provide customizable statistical precision.

EASY FIELD DEPLOYMENT

Corela GRG-01 is intended for direct field deployment enabling conduction of K-U-Th analyses directly on site of the drilling or in adjacent coreshacks.

Unlike large NaI:Tl-based laboratory set-ups, Corela GRG-01 can be deployed on site by a small van or a helicopter.

PRECISE AND FAST

Next generation novel compact and high-sensitivity radiation detectors with FWHM resolution similar to NaI(Tl) but featuring double the density and sensitivity.

Up to 40 m of total depth measured per
8 hour shift (1 measuring segment)

MODULAR

Perfect modularity to suit your needs. You can choose up to 7 measuring segments for highest productivity or different set-up for slower but cost-efficient solutions.

PRODUCTIVE

It takes only a short time to set Corela GRG-01 ready for operation.

High flexibilty in optimalization of the measuring process – Total measurement time versus precission and profile resolution of the core

Corela GRG-01 is a joint product with

Features and software

  • Next generation novel compact and high sensitivity radiation detectors scintillation detectors with FWHM resolution similar to NaI(Tl) but with double the density and sensitivity
  • Three (3) detectors within each measuring segment and the ability to combine up to seven (7) measuring segments for greater productivity
